Erica discovered her passion for ballet at 4 years old. She studied the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet syllabus which is based on the Russian Vaganova method at Essentially Ballet, where she excelled in examinations, consistently receiving High Destinctions and also studied the R.A.D. method of ballet at Sierra Dance School.
Erica succesfully competed in state and national competitions for Classical Ballet, Character, Neo-Contemporary and Jazz. She also studied ballet internationally, joining a ballet school in Japan where she first began her pointe training. Erica received a scholarship to study at the Russian Choreographic Academy at which she was taught by teachers from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow.
In 2010 Erica received a full scholarship to study at the Australian Ballet School where she performed with the Australian Ballet Company in their Peggy Van Praagh performance. Erica adores working with children and is excited to pass on her knowledge to the future generation of ballet dancers and hopes that she can instill in them the passion she has for this beautiful art form.
Erica is in her third year of studying marketing at Monash University, with hopes to work in the ballet industry in a businesss capacity.
