Peta started dancing at five years old and soon realised that Classical Ballet was her passion.

Peta started serious ballet training with Marilyn Dowd at Ballet Centre Dandenong, after five years of study, she won a Scholarship which gave her the opportunity to commence Full Time study at the National Theatre Ballet School under the directorship of Gailene Stock.

After two years of full time training Peta successfully auditioned for the Tertiary Course at the Victorian College of the Arts. After three years of study Peta successfully received at Diploma in Dance majoring in Classical Ballet.

In 1999 Peta travelled overseas to audition. After many auditions she finally secured a contract with the Klagenfurt Stadt Theatre. Peta enjoyed performing professionally in Ballets and Operettas, but eventually became homesick for Australia.

On returning to Australia, Peta realised that her passion was for teaching, after a short time working for Dance Schools she eventually opened her own School Rowville Ballet Academy. After 27 years Peta closed her school.  She was very proud of her school as over the years she had students accepted into the Australian Ballet Company, Australian Ballet School, Vcass. Professional Musicals and the Moulin Rouge.

Peta is a fully Qualified Cecchetti Ballet teacher and a graduate of the Australian Ballet School  Advanced Diploma of Teaching with distinction.

Peta loves teaching for En Pointe School of Ballet and hopes that all her previous ballet experiences helps the next generation to  reach there dreams,
