Renee began her training at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet where she studied for over ten years. At the age of fifteen Renee was accepted into the Australian Ballet School where she undertook full-time dance training. Renee completed her academic studies at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCASS) before she continued into tertiary education and completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts with a major in Dance at Deakin University. Following her pathway to becoming a ballet teacher Renee then furthered her education by completing a post graduate degree through Melbourne University and the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in ’Classical Ballet Teaching’. Renee is a qualified teacher of the ACB Training Program, a qualified VCE Dance teacher, and is the owner and director of the ‘En Pointe School of Ballet.’

Renee has had a vast array of performing experience. Renee has performed in roles with the Queensland Ballet Company, in tertiary dance projects (PHD Research) and in the works of many prestigious independent choreographers such as Marilyn Rowe, Leigh Rowles, Christine Walsh, Helena Yuk, and Beverly Fry. Renee was the recipient of a Victorian State Premiers Award for her choreography in ‘Top Class’ for VCE Dance. Renee has been awarded and won numerous dance competitions and bursaries.

In 2015 Renee took 12 of her students on an overseas tour to take part in the ACB's 25th Anniversary Gala event. Her students performed in Christine Walsh's Nutcracker production and had the opportunity to dance alongside guest artist from London's Royal Ballet, and principal artists from Russia & America.
In 2017 Renee attended New York City alongside four of her Cert IV 1/2 day students who were accepted into the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensives where they were taught by teachers directly from Russia and danced alongside students from the Bolshoi ballet school, Vaganova School, and from all around the world. 

Renee has had students accepted into the Australian Ballet School, Victorian College of the Arts, the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, Queensland Ballet Senior training program, and perform roles with the Australian Ballet Company, her students are consistantly winning many presigious ballet competions all over the nation. Renee looks forward to the future and growing the school further whilst upholding the strong reputation that the En Pointe School of Ballet has developed over the last ten years as one of Melbourne top ballet schools.
